The NMU Center for Forensic Science has been entrusted with the Sukhvin S. Trehan Memorial Fund, established in memory of Mr. Sukhvin S. Trehan, to foster undergraduate research in forensic science.
The Sukhvin S. Trehan Memorial Fund supports undergraduate forensic science research at NMU by providing up to $1,000 for essential research equipment and supplies (e.g., laboratory materials, instruments, or sample‐analysis fees). This endowed award honors the memory of Mr. Sukhvin S. Trehan and advances student scholarship in forensic science.
Eligibility:
Full-time undergraduate students at NMU
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Must be working with a research advisor
Upcoming Deadlines:
May 1, 2025 (funding available beginning January 2025)
November 15, 2025 (funding available beginning January 2026)
