ED 511 Trends in the Teaching of Language Arts 2 cr. Significant issues, trends and challenges in the teaching of the English language arts (i.e., listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing and representing) will be considered. Integrating the language arts into other subject areas to improve student learning and achievement will be the focus.
