How to Become a HIPE Ambassador

Faculty and staff who are passionate about advancing High-Impact Practices and Experiences can apply to serve as HIPE Ambassadors within their department or college. Ambassadors are selected based on their commitment to teaching, mentoring, and student engagement, and they receive training and support to help promote HIPEs across campus.

To become an Ambassador:

  1. Complete the High Impact Practices and Experiences Training Course

  2. Teach a course with an embedded HIPE & share a HIPE example for the HIPE website

  3. Publish or present your HIPE & join an NMU HIPE Evaluation Team

  4. Mentor a future HIPE ambassador
