More about Instructor Balogh:
I started learning Spanish 8 years ago while working 3rd shift at a German bakery in Madison, Wisconsin, which neatly combined two of my favorite hobbies (Spanish and bread baking). That has led me to be an adjunct Spanish instructor at NMU and a volunteer legal translator and interpreter for a non-profit immigrant legal advocacy group in Austin, TX. I'm also an avid birder, enjoy cultivating native UP plants from wild-collected seeds, writing computer programs, and serving on the board of Moosewood Nature Center at Presque Isle.
