What were your favorite moments as an undergrad at NMU?

All the moments I have gotten to spend with my friends at NMU would have to be some of my favorite moments as an undergrad at NMU. The friendships I have made here at NMU I know will last a lifetime no matter where we all end up and I cannot be more grateful to NMU for bringing those friendships into my life. Also, all the opportunities NMU has offered me during my undergraduate career, such as my on-campus job and studying abroad, have been very impactful moments and experiences for me.

What were your favorite moments as an LLIS student?

My favorite moments as an LLIS student would have to be my Intro to International Studies course, all of my French courses, and my study abroad experience in Stirling, Scotland. All of these moments have shaped me into the person I am today and have helped lead me to what I will be doing post-graduation.

What is your favorite place to visit abroad?

Scotland and Spain, specifically Barcelona and Girona!

If you met an incoming student, what advice would you give them?

The advice I would give an incoming student is to get involved and say yes to opportunities! Also, make connections with your professors and NMU staff members because they care about you and want to help you succeed!

What will you miss most about being an NMU student?

I will miss the community I have built here at NMU the most post-graduation. I have been lucky enough to find amazing friends and make great connections with my professors here at NMU which makes graduating and moving away so hard.
