What were your favorite moments as an undergrad at NMU?

My favorite moments were the ones where I was able to step out of my comfort zone and achieve goals that I thought were unachievable. Whether it was studying abroad, or working with the administration, I became the best version of myself here.

What were your favorite moments as an LLIS student?

My favorite moments as an LLIS student were the ones where I took the things I learned in my IP courses and was able to notice little nuances in society. How the intersectionality of identities became clearer- and I understood the world a little better.

What will you miss most about being an NMU student?

The Yooper community. I am moving to a big city, and I will miss the casual magic of the bustling coffee shops and the smell of the books in Snowbound. So - the people.

What is your favorite place to visit abroad?

Oh by far my favorite places abroad are either Copenhagen, Denmark or Hamburg, Germany.

If you met an incoming student, what advice would you give them?

I would say to embrace uncertainty -- it will lead you to great places.
