Have a story to share from your time at NMU?
Record your reminiscing to get featured on radio! Record a voice memo and it will be included in the Radio X Special Broadcast of the NMU 125th Anniversary show during homecoming in Fall of 2024. Don't worry if you make a mistake recording your audio. We'll be sure to edit your audio recording before airing.
Participants can send recordings between now and May 1st, 2024.
Participants can also come in person to the Radio X station in the Northern Center to record their stories during the following dates and times:
February 16th, from 2-6pm
March 15th, from 2-6pm
April 19th, from 2-6pm
If you want to call and have a recorded interview, you can do so during these times and dates as well. Our station phone number is (906) 227-2348. Voicemails are welcome.
People can send in their pre-recorded stories to (scolburn@nmu.edu) Please be sure to include “WUPX - NMU Alumni Stories” in the subject line of your email.
If you want to leave a voicemail between now and May 1st, you may do so with our Faculty Advisor, Dr. Mark Shevy at (906)227-2046.
In the recording, state your name, where you are from, what your major/minor was at NMU, and what year you graduated before telling your story. Please attempt to keep stories concise and under a minute in length.
