SW 415 Addictions: Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention 4 cr. Alternative conceptualizations of addictions, such as alcoholism, the impact of alcohol abuse on the individual, and the family and social relationships. Skill is developed in recognizing situations in which alcoholism is a factor and in selecting appropriate intervention strategies.
