Designed to establish a foundation of knowledge for the child care provider. Students have a variety of opportunities to examine the elements found in quality child care through class observations and a field experience. Incorporated in this program are significant aspects of the nationally recognized child development associate (CDA) curriculum. These courses “ladder” into the four-year early childhood program.
