SW 421 Family Intervention in Social Work Practice 4 cr. A course designed to address the needs of helping professionals understand and deal with family problems. Focus is on societal influences on the family, defining what constitutes a healthy family system, learning how to intervene with families to enhance their problem-solving skills, and learning how to understand and intervene with families with specific problems.
