- Offered: Fall Winter
- Prerequisites: MA 103 or MA 104 or satisfactory score on math placement exam. Credit cannot be earned for both MA 106 and MA 115, except by written permission from the department. Students planning to take MA 161 should enroll in MA 115 instead of this course. A graphing calculator or equivalent computer software is used in this course.

Right triangle trigonometry, laws of sines and cosines, circular functions, graphs of trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities and equations, inverse trigonometric functions and other selected topics. The emphasis will be on applications in the applied sciences.
