These courses primarily focus on scientific and quantitative reasoning and understanding the natural world.

Students elect a minimum of six credits with two courses from this division; students must choose at least three credits from the science courses in this division. Students should also note that completion of a laboratory science is a graduation requirement.

The three numbers in parentheses indicate the hours devoted to lecture, discussion and laboratory. If no indication exists, the credit hours are lecture.

Most science courses, with the exception of ENV 101, GC 100, LB295N, and PY 100S can be used to meet the graduation requirement of a laboratory course.
