Examination of the earth's physical phenomena to develop a knowledge and appreciation of the relationships between human activities and environmental processes.
Notes:Course does not meet the laboratory course graduation requirement.

Two-week tour of Europe follows two weeks on campus. This course is a multidisciplinary introduction to contemporary French-speaking Europe. It examines the heritage of modern French-speaking European society as it manifests itself through various cultural artifacts, such as visual art, film, architecture and social customs.
Notes:FR 438 is taught in English.
This course counts toward the French major and minor upon completion of substantial work in French.
