Students with a minor in secondary education mathematics must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or greater overall, in the major, and/or minor(s) with no grade below a "B-" in the professional education sequence and no grade below a "C" in the major and/or minor(s).
This minor requires 20 credits in computer science courses numbered 120 or above, up to 8 hours of these may be mathematics courses numbered 109 and 115 or above, excluding those with a middle digit of "5".
All non-teaching majors and minors offered by the department require a 2.00 or higher overall grade point average in required courses and a grade of “C” or better in each required course.
Completion of the mathematics courses and the professional education sequence of courses lead to certification as a secondary teacher of mathematics.

This major is designed to offer students an education in the important world of mobile and web application programming. The course of study emphasizes programming skills, including for the web, iOS, and Android platforms. Students will learn the fundamentals of computer science while focusing on aspects important to network computing.

Consists of courses that emphasize a technical or industrial area of study. Courses comprising this minor must be submitted to Degree Evaluations in the Registrar's Office along with department head and adviser approval.
This minor is available to students in the Industrial Technologies baccalaureate degree and to students in the General University Studies associate degree.
Students must have a minimum grade of “C” and a grade point average of 2.25 for the minor program.

Students with this concentration will earn their ASCP MLT certification and will then be eligible for national microbiology categorical certification. Graduates traditionally serve in microbiology labs in hospitals and clinics, public health labs, as well as in research and industrial laboratories.
