How many students do you have attending Northern? What year are they/when did they graduate? What is/was their field of study?
I have one student at NMU. Carly is a current senior studying Public Relations & Economics. She will be graduating in May 2025 with her bachelor's degree, and then pursuing her MBA at NMU.
Describe your student's experience in finding, selecting, and attending Northern. What was your involvement in this process?
Carly originally found NMU when searching for colleges that had high rankings in her chosen major. We then took her to tour NMU in February of the year she got accepted.
Was it a difficult or easy decision for your student to attend NMU? What sealed the deal?
Easy decision. Carly has always loved the outdoors, and her scholarship sealed the deal.
What were your main concerns about your student attending Northern? How were those concerns addressed?
None. Carly loves NMU and has really taken advantage of exploring the area.
