ENV 101 Introduction to Environmental Science 4 cr. Introduction to the basic scientific principles and concepts surrounding environmental science. Major components of the natural environment including climate, soils, geologic and hydrologic processes are described. Important ecological concepts concerning aquatic and terrestrial systems are discussed. Human influences are evaluated in terms of energy, natural resources, pollution and environmental sustainability.
