This course is a multidisciplinary introduction to the culture and civilization of Spanish America. It offers a comprehensive view of the historical, geographical, political and economic factors that have helped shape today’s Spanish American societies and the cultural expressions which have resulted. Notes: SN 312 is taught in Spanish.
