Adobe Express gives you a powerful toolset to create content for your courses. It also opens up many options for having students create multimedia assignments, for improving the quality of their presentations, and for giving them opportunities to work with generative AI and improve their digital literacy.

You don’t need to take any training before you start to use Adobe Express. We encourage you to dive right in and start trying things. But you may come to a point where you want to learn more about what you can do with Express and how you can use it to promote digital literacy and provide Universal Design for Learning (UDL) options in your courses.

Adobe and NMU have you covered. The Center for Teaching and Learning (particularly Instructional Multimedia Consultant Daric Christian) will be offering workshops on these topics throughout the school year. Meanwhile, along with general support materials including  User Guide and an Express YouTube Channel, check out:

  • The Adobe Education Institute, which  offers live and recorded webinars on how to use Express yourself and in your teaching.
  • The Adobe Education Exchange, which provides resources, self-paced and virtual live learning and a community, all focused around incorporating creativity and digital literacy into the teaching and learning process.

As an Adobe Creative Campus, we will occasionally also be able to bring Adobe experts to campus to meet with faculty.
