The NMU Orchestra Children's Concert scheduled for this evening in
Reynolds Recital Hall at 6:30 p.m. has been POSTPONED until Monday,
March 7 at 6:30pm due to weather conditions.  Thank you!

The NMU Symphony Orchestra directed by Dr. Barbara Rhyneer presents its annual "Children's Concert" for all ages:  Monday, March 7 at 6:30pm at the Reynolds Recital Hall. While the concert is geared toward young children--all ages will enjoy.

The orchestra will perform seven selections including music from the "Lord of the Rings" by Howard Shore, "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg, and "Danse Infernale" by Igor Stravinsky. Between pieces, the conductor and musicians in the orchestra will demonstrate instruments and music concepts.

The program is short (around 45 minutes).

Join the NMU Percussion Ensemble for their winter semester performance on Saturday, April 2nd at 3:00 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall.  Admission is free and open to the public!
