Please join President Brock Tessman for 'Chat with the President' at 7pm on Tuesday, April 9th at The Lodge in The Woods Residence Hall Complex.

This event is open to all NMU students.

President Brock Tessman and other NMU administrators will update the campus on current issues and events taking place at Northern.  Northern students, faculty, and staff, as well as Marquette area community members, are encouraged to attend and be a part of the campus discussion.

Office of the President

Northern Michigan administrators will discuss the impact of the upcoming Harden Hall and science lab expansion construction projects on walking, parking, and driving in the center of campus. They will also go over accessibility of elevators, stairways, and door entrances. Construction trailers will roll onto campus and construction fencing will go up in early March. These projects will continue until Fall 2025.

This event is free and open to the public.  All NMU students, faculty, and staff, as well as Marquette community members, are encouraged to attend.

Light refreshments will be provided or feel free to bring a lunch to eat during the chat.

4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, Wildcat Room, Berry Events Center

Pizza and refreshments will be available.

• Ways NMU is protecting access to its network and digital data
• Overview of the recently approved budgets and a look at the budget development timeline for FY25
• Update on NMU facility projects
• Update on pillar priority projects

A general question and answer period will follow the presentations.
