ED 699 Education Specialist Thesis 1-3 cr.

The student develops a thesis with the help of a thesis committee. A total of 3 credits must be completed prior to graduation. Appropriate thesis forms must be completed prior to enrollment. The thesis must be approved by the thesis committee and the Office of Graduate Education and Research. The student should consult the department and the Office of Graduate Education and Research for specific requirements.

ED 989 Professional Development for Educators Special Topics Course 0-4 cr.

For the professional development of professional educators: certified K-12 educators; other certified school personnel; certified preschool teachers and adult educators; community college educators and administrators; and others who qualify for admission to graduate studies. The topics address issues and trends related to professional policy and practice.
ED 992 Professional Development Seminars for Educators 0-3 cr.
In-depth discussions and readings about issues related to professional staff development for specific groups of educators, such as a school district's teachers and/or administrators. The seminars may treat the district's curricula, school improvement planning, staff renewal, school public relations or supervision and improvement of instruction. The seminars are for K-12 educators or non-certified school personnel, certified preschool teachers and adult educators, community school and college educators and administrators and others who qualify for admission to graduate studies.
