EN 640 Form and Technique of Fiction and Creative Nonfiction 1-6 cr. An examination of the theories and practices of form and technique in fiction and creative nonfiction. Major emphasis is placed on how technique generates form in the historical evolution of established narrative genres, especially the novel, short story, narrative essay and memoir.
