University Business Hours
University business hours are 8 a.m.–5 p.m. during the fall and winter semesters (late August through early May) and 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. during the summer (early May through late August). Northern Michigan University is located in the Eastern time zone.

Campus Location
The internal audit office is located in room 506 Cohodas Hall. Internal audit reports are discussed at NMU Board of Trustees finance committee meetings.  The Board of Trustees holds its meetings in the University Center (see campus map).

COVID-19 Response

The Internal Audit Department will continue to work during the State of Michigan's "stay at home" order. We will be available during the regular business hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, by telephone and email. As always, we will be available at any time when need arises. Staff may be available for face-to-face meetings if necessary within the bounds of Executive Order 2020-21.
