With this website, Northern Michigan University is soft-launching a new online system to manage its official policy and compliance requirement records. This modern system replaces an older platform that is outdated and no longer supported with security updates or technical improvements.
While maintaining the essential features of the previous system, the new version introduces numerous improvements. These include more reliable data handling, a more intuitive experience for staff who manage or audit policy records, along with better tools for tracking and reporting on compliance requirements.
This upgrade represents a significant step forward in how NMU manages its policies and compliance information—making it easier to keep records accurate, up-to-date, accessible, and secure. As we move forward with the new site, Internal Audit will begin contacting the departments that initially developed and continue to support the records, to confirm that they are completely accurate and reflective of University practices.
