Class Attendance Policy - Northern Michigan University

Purpose:
To provide a procedure for excusing students from class who are absent because of participation in University-sponsored activities.

Applicability:
Students

Policy:
Students are expected to attend all class meetings of courses in which they enroll.  Students who are absent from classes because of participation in University-sponsored activities are to be excused. 

The sample form below is to be used to excuse students.
