Relationship Violence, Sexual Misconduct, and Stalking Sample Syllabus Language (Optional)
SAMPLE:
Our University is committed to fostering a safe, productive educational and work environment. Title IX and our Relationship Violence, Sexual Misconduct, and Stalking Policy prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex. This includes Relationship Violence (Dating Violence/Domestic Violence), Sexual Misconduct (Sexual Assault (Rape, Sodomy, Sexual Assault with an Object, Fondling, Incest, and Statutory Rape), Sexual Exploitation, and Sex Discrimination, (Gender identity, Sexual orientation, Sex stereotypes, Pregnancy status, and Sex-based harassment), Sexual harassment, Harassment (based on sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or pregnancy status), and Stalking. All are collectively referred to as "Prohibited Conduct."
All employees are considered "Mandatory Reporters" and per University Policy are required to promptly report any reported conduct or complaints of Prohibited Conduct to the Title IX Coordinator/Title IX Administrator.
