About WellBeing Promotions
As a Health Promoting Campus, we are committed to further cultivating a supportive environment where everyone can flourish. WellBeing Promotions reinforces this vision by offering programming and workshops to support student health and wellbeing across campus.
Our programming includes weekly Toolkit Tuesdays, where we table to share resources tailored to the timing of the semester, WellBeing Walks and Crafts and Convos alternating biweekly on Fridays, and a Sunday Silent Reading Club. We also offer a variety of events and workshops, where students can connect with our team and each other for learning opportunities. Some topics include alcohol and other drugs (AOD), supportive relationships, time management, wellbeing plan creation, bystander intervention, and stress management. Annual events include the Wildcat WellBeing Fair in March and the Mind over Miles 5k in October.
In addition to our regular programming, we are excited to offer requestable workshops that can be tailored for student organizations, residence halls, departments, or other campus groups. To request a program or training from WellBeing Promotions, please complete this workshop request form.
Please note the following:
- We require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice to accommodate requests, and 4 weeks if submitting a custom workshop request.
- Submitting a workshop request does not automatically indicate our commitment to the workshop. You will receive an email in response to your request.
- If your requested topic falls outside our scope or is better suited to another department, we may refer you to the appropriate office for support.
