Meet Dalton Warden, a 2016 alumnus from Ortonville, Michigan. Dalton currently resides in Miami Fl. where he is a painter, illustrator and professional framer.
Brief Description of What You Do
I am the quality control manager for the largest frame shop in Miami 4 days a week and sell/ create paintings the other 3 days a week out of my home studio in coconut grove.
What at NMU helped you most in your current role?
NMU and the people I met while going there showed me how possible it is to turn a dream into a goal, and then to achieve that goal. The motivation and energy at northern is everywhere.
What advice would you give current students?
Keep all of your book and notes! They will come in handy years later. Also, live somewhere far away for at least a year. It will change your life!
Are there personal interests and/or activities you care to share?
Aside from my fiancé Sadie, painting is my greatest passion. Next would be fishing, snorkeling, and exploring the beautiful state of Florida and all of its wildlife.
