Jeff Vande Zande

I teach at a community college. Courses such as: College Composition, Screenwriting, Fiction Writing, Literature and Cinematography.

I owe NMU for getting me started on my writing career. First I had my father, John Vande Zande, for fiction writing (yes, my A- in that class is suspect!) and then I had the motivational Bev Matherne for poetry writing. Since then, I’ve published numerous books, won a Michigan Notable Book Award, and just saw my fifth novel released from Montag Press called Rules of Order. I’ll be in Marquette to give a reading from the book at 7 p.m. on Nov. 10 2022 at Peter White Library. It all started at NMU for me!
