Meet Jim Grahek a 1981 alumnus from Ely, Mn. Jim currently lives in Plymouth, Mn and is a retired. Jim did work for 20 years as a Manufacturing Representative for Burndy which is an Electrical Connector Manufacturer and 35 years in the Electrical Industry.

Brief Description of What You Do

Right now I am just traveling the world. I used to promote electrical products to distributors and end users in a 3 1/2 state area.

What at NMU helped you most in your current role?

NMU taught me to put in the time to get the best results. The harder you work, the more you would receive as a benefit.

What advice would you give current students?

Use the experience and advice of former Alumni to help you achieve your goals. You won't regret it or find a better resource than that.

Are there personal interests and/or activities you care to share?

I like golfing, biking, hiking, and pickleball! Anything that will help me stay active.
