Meet Mick Hoeflinger, a 2003 BS Physical Education alumnus from Niles, MI. Mick currently resides in Elkhart, IN, where he has been employed as the Regional Director at Homeserve USA since 2021.
Brief Description of What You Do
Regional Director, Homeserve USA I oversee 11 HVAC and plumbing branches that generate 100 million in revenue annually.
What at NMU helped you most in your current role?
Choosing a program with significant support from department staff and a great academic counselor who was accessible and helped me ensure I graduated in the desired time frame I was looking to complete the program.
What advice would you give current students?
Take advantage of all of the opportunities around you. What a great place to spend 4 years and see so much around you in nature. It took over 20 years after leaving NMU to head back north and spend a few days on Isle Royale- I would highly recommend it.
