This course introduces students to basic requirements and processes for compliance with building codes and ordinances with regards to Michigan Residential Building Codes. It also provides a general understanding of the relationships and procedures for various regulatory agencies associated with different compliance requirements; including, but not limited to, plan review and inspection processes.
Notes:This course is required if a student wants to earn a pre-licensure certificate for the Michigan Residential Builders License.
