2024 Retirement Plan Limits--403(b) and 457(b) Plans
The IRS has recently announced the 2024 Retirement Plan Limits. The contribution limits for employees who participate in the voluntary 403(b) and/or 457(b) plans have increased from $22,500 to $23,000 in 2024, and the catch-up contribution limit for employees age 50 and over who participate in these plans remains unchanged at $7,500.
Vaccine Services--NMU Health Plan
The NMU group health plan has traditionally covered vaccines under the medical plan with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Effective November 1st, vaccines will also be covered under the pharmacy plan with CVS Caremark. Vaccine services are covered at 100% with no employee cost share. You may present either card when you are receiving a vaccination.
Stress Awareness Day Drawing Winners
Wednesday, November 1, was National Stress Awareness Day. We hope that many were able to enjoy some time at the PEIF or participate in another activity that helps decrease stress. No one should sit out of hiking, biking, skiing, or any activity they enjoy because of a nagging injury or pain. The IECC functions to provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services of sport and physical activity related injuries to NMU faculty, staff, students, and wider community.
