Gender and Sexuality Studies
This year, we are inviting Dr. Miranda Findlay from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin. She is a two time alumni of NMU's English Department. At NMU, she graduated with a BS and an MA in Literature and Pedagogy. She then furthered her education at Oregon State University, getting her PhD in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
Dr. Findlay will be speaking on Thursday, April 2nd, at 6pm. We have given her creative freedom over what she will be talking about, whether it is about her time at Northern, the research she has done, etc.
