The NMU University Choir seeks new singers for the Fall, 2022 semester. 

Did you sing in high school? Do you miss the music and comradery that comes with singing in a choir? We have a singing home for you! Or have you always been interested in learning to sing but needed a safe place to explore your voice? Choir is for you!

Please consider joining the NMU University Choir. We meet Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00p to 3:50p in TFA, 250.

ALL MAJORS are welcome to join. No formal audition required; just come and enjoy! Many students say it's good for their mental health and the best part of their day. Come on down and make some new friends and sing some beautiful music.

You can register for MU 111 (University Choir, .5 credits) or MU 111A (zero-credit option if you're at 16 credits or above). Please contact your advisor or reach out to the conductor: Dr. Colwitz (ecolwitz@nmu.edu).
