Join the NMU Symphony Orchestra and the NMU University Choir and Arts Chorale for the Midwestern Premiere of THE UNARMED CHILD. Michael Bussewitz-Quarm, composer, will be here to speak about her work and the relevance to our society. THE UNARMED CHILD is a "song cycle" based on texts written by Shantel Sellers, Adrian Dunn, Christina Rossetti and others.

The NMU Department of Music is hosting their annual Choral Invitational! Come and hear performances from Gwinn, Calumet and Ishpeming schools. The NMU Arts Chorale will also perform. All choirs will combine in the cumulative performance conducting by Clinician, Dr. Donna Poirier.
