Dinner & A Show: A Streetcar Named Desire

For one evening only, the Hospitality Leadership and Theater and Dance programs invite guests into the world of A Streetcar Named Desire, where illusion, desire, and Southern heat linger in the air. A limited number of seats are available in the North Fork Teaching Kitchen for an immersive, fine-dining experience prior to the performance.
Braids & Bites

This event is designed for parents and caregivers to learn how to style and care for children's hair. The workshop covers techniques for braiding and daily maintenance with a hands on demonstration followed by pizza and soft drinks. Women in Construction: Dickinson County

Registration is now open! Calling all 9th-12th grade female students in the Dickinson County area for this free career exploration event hosted by Construction Management. Students can expect hands on activities with power tools and simulators, a free t-shirt and lunch, and tons of giveaways. This event will be hosted at the Ruth Butler Building in Escanaba.
North Fork Teaching Kitchen

North Fork, NMU's Teaching Kitchen, will soon be accepting reservations. With availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the winter semester, guests may make reservations for an elevated dining experience hosted by Hospitality Leadership students.

Indoor Ag Con
February 11-12 | Las Vegas, Nevada
The Controlled Environment Agriculture team is taking on Las Vegas! We will be participating in the largest trade show for greenhouse, controlled environment agriculture, and vertical farming. This program connects academic research with real-world industry application through mentorship, networking and hands-on exposure and we're excited to learn at the conference while hosting a booth at the expo.
InterCon Construction Presentation

Electrical Line Technology students will be hosting '06 alum Joe Shovald, General Manager of InterCon Construction in Waunakee, WI. Joe will be sharing insight about his 20 year career in the industry and how his education at NMU serves as a great foundation. Joe will also touch on opportunities in the electric utility industry, an area that shows consistent growth, as well as the range of roles that students can explore after graduation.
