Assistant Behavior Analyst Certificate (currently not accepting students)

New students will not be accepted into the program at this time. Contact department for more information.

The Assistant Behavior Analyst Certificate program is designed to prepare students to conduct functional behavior assessments, behavior support planning and training, implement language acquisition programming, and supervise registered behavior technicians (RBTs), or the equivalent, by providing coursework and supervision experience that has been approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) via an approved Verified Course Sequence. Successful completion of the certificate program prepares students to sit for the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) examination. Students must complete this coursework with a C or better as well as fulfill the required experience hours in order to qualify for the certification exam. Additional requirements to become a BCaBA include:  1) the completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, and 2) passing of the BCaBA certification exam.
