Becca grew up in the northern region of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. She discovered her love for the Upper Peninsula while attending Northern Michigan University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2013. After several years working in outdoor education, she pursued her passion for helping others by completing a Master of Social Work degree at Ferris State University.
Becca brings clinical experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. She practices from a client-centered, strengths-based perspective and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
A proud NMU alum, Becca is excited to be part of the Counseling and Consultation Services team. Outside of work, she finds joy in mountain biking, trail running, skate skiing, backpacking, and swimming—especially in the waters of Lake Superior.
