Jennifer Gorton

Licensed Professional Counselor | Assistant Professor

Jennifer is originally from Wisconsin, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin Stout, and a Master’s degree in counseling from Concordia University Wisconsin. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Board Certified Telemental Health Therapist.

Jennifer worked for two Marquette community non-profits before hired by Northern Michigan University as the Coordinator of Disability Services in 2017. Jennifer joined the Counseling and Consultation Service’s team in spring 2019.

Jennifer has experience working with people of all ages and abilities with a strength based treatment style.
