Lynne's Bio:
With great enthusiasm Lynne joined the NMU Counseling and Consultation Services Center team in November 2021. Lynne began teaching Introduction to Trauma Treatment course at NMU in the fall semester of 2020. Previously, Lynne provided therapeutic clinical services for 10 years at Pathways Community Mental Health in Marquette as well as served on the Community Resiliency Board.
Lynne is a licensed Professional Counselor trained in providing Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing and Parent Management Training, Oregon Model. Lynne has a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Nutrition from Central Michigan University.
Lynne is originally from Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and enjoys camping, hiking, and cooking.
