Shelley Brandow

Shelley is originally from the lower Peninsula Oakland County area. She has been a resident of Marquette for 11 years. She graduated with her Masters in counseling from Oakland University and is nationally certified. She has 20 + years of post-master’s experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has experience working in Community Mental Health settings along with 7 years therapy work in the UP with community member groups. 

Shelley joined Counseling and Consultation Services in Fall 2017.  She specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Strategies with an empasis on mindfulness. She loves utilizing these skills with the student population here at Northern Michigan University and working with her peers.
