We are fortunate that Kelsey her advising experience to our students at NMU, as she worked as an embedded success specialist for EEGS students since August 2021.

Although Kelsey grown up in Warren, Michigan, she is no stranger to the Upper Peninsula. Kelsey completed a bachelor's degree at NMU, and then she moved to Wisconsin to complete a Master's of Science in Education. Following work in the University of Wisconsin system, Kelsey returned to NMU.

Kelsey enjoys working with students, help them establish connections within the department and get excited about their major, as well as discover NMU and Marquette. She focuses on holistic student support, which includes course scheduling, long-term degree planning, academic skill development, navigating NMU policies, and connecting with faculty and other helpful resources.

Outside of work, you can find her hanging out in a Marquette coffee shop, kayaking or paddleboarding, or playing clarinet in the Marquette City Band.
