Biographical Profile:
Dr. Cale Polkinghorne is in the areas of Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Manufacturing, Machining, and Industrial Technology Education. Cale holds a bachelor’s of science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Technology Education, a master’s (M.A.E.) degree in Education Administration, an educational specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Higher Education Leadership. He holds a Michigan professional teaching certificate and several vocational certifications including machine tool operation, aviation power plant technology, and aviation transportation. Cale is also Michigan State certified to be a K-12 Principal and Superintendent. His past work experience includes being an aviation machinist in the U.S. Coast Guard and a teacher at Marquette Senior High School.
