Biographical Profile:
Michael Martin obtained both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University and was a graduate teaching assistant at MTU in the area of experimental vibrations and computer numerical controlled machining. Martin is a professional engineer, registered in the State of Michigan. Since graduating, he has worked as a senior project engineer for General Motors, and in Escanaba has been employed by Engineered Machine Products as a product development engineer and engineering supervisor, and at Industrial Maintenance Service as a project manager/engineer. He and his wife Julie have two sons: Daniel and Nicholas.
