Dr. Seth Norberg

Biographical Profile:

Dr. Seth Norberg is enjoying his second career teaching at Northern Michigan University. Seth retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army in 2022 as an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point, an Army Acquisition Officer, and various other duties over 27 years of service. Seth graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and commissioned as an Army (Ordnance) Officer with a branch detail to Field Artillery through the ROTC program in 1995. Seth earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2005 and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2015.
