Overview: Division of Finance and Administration
The Division of Finance and Administration is comprised of several departments and offices across campus. It is led by NMU Vice President Gavin Leach.
The departments that comprise this division include:

Division Mission
The mission statement of the NMU Finance and Administration Division is to provide financial and administrative counsel to the President, Board of Trustees and other units of Northern Michigan University, and to develop and manage both short and long-term budget, financial, technology, human resource, facilities, student business and auxiliary services, health services, and state relations strategies that assist NMU in identifying and managing the necessary resources to achieve high-quality programs in a high-teach, high-touch learning environment.
NMU's Golf Course falls under the umbrella of Auxiliary Services. This great spot for recreation is located just a short drive away from NMU's campus.
The NMU Health Center, located in NMU's Gries Hall, is a part of Northern's Finance and Administration Division. The Center offers services to NMU students, staff and faculty.
Human Resources hosts an annual recognition event for Northern's exemplary employees. From those who have served the institution for a landmark number of years, to those who are doing innovative things to propel the university's goals, it's a great event to recognize our incredible faculty and staff.
The Educational Access Network, Telecom, Business Intelligence and Information Services, the Help Desk and Microrepair comprise NMU's Information Technology departments. All of these areas full under the Finance and Administration Division.
The Wildcat Den is a favorite dining and social space for employees and students alike. Located in the completely renovated Northern Center, this is a great place to grab a bite, play a game, or network with peers. The Wildcat Den is a part of NMU's Dining Services Department.
