The class registration and membership form are included on one form that can be downloaded, printed, and filled out with your class selections. You do not have to be a member to enroll in classes at NCLL and all ages are welcome.
Membership is $30 annually and enables you to take most classes* for a $5 fee; non-members pay a $10 class fee. Our membership year starts September 1, 2025 and ends August 31, 2026 and is $30 regardless of the date you join NCLL.

If you are experiencing difficulties downloading or printing this form, please contact the office, 906-227-2979 or email ncll@nmu.edu and we will assist you. You may also bring your completed registration form and payment to the office during open office hours or slide it under the locked office door or come to the office and fill out a registration form there. Registration can also be accomplished over the phone. Class descriptions and registration forms can also be found outside the NCLL office door, second floor of Cohodas Hall, Room 201.5
Registration
Required Waiver: The waiver form included on the registration form must be filled out and can be signed when you attend your first class. Your waiver form will be valid for the entire academic year.
This policy informs and protects our participants as well as NMU and NCLL.
Refund Policy
NCLL does not offer refunds on memberships or events. Your account will be credited only in the following circumstances:
- NCLL events will be automatically cancelled if NMU closes for inclement weather.
- If an event is cancelled by NCLL for any reason, you will be contacted and your account will automatically be credited the class fee.
- If the event is rescheduled to a date you cannot attend, let us know when you are contacted and we will credit the class fee. Credits on your account are valid until August 31, 2026 but you are encouraged to apply them at the first available opportunity.
If the event is full when you register, you will be notified, and adjustments can be made at that time.
*The majority of NCLL events and classes are a $5 or $10 fee to register. Some classes periodically have material fees or other costs which can alter the price. Adjusted and/or applicable fees will be clearly stated in the class descriptions.
