Booking the Marquette Food Co-op Guide for Program Planners

Update 2-25

  1. Currently the contact for holding a class at the co-op is Pamela Valdez  pvaldez@marquettefood.coop
  2. Classes can only be held on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
  3. The cost for a 3 hour class is $35 for kitchen use.
  4. The co-op will draw up a contract for the programmer to sign. Please make sure either a digital or physical copy is sent to the office whereupon the office person will pay for it by credit card
  5. All kitchen equipment can be used. Clean up of equipment and kitchen is expected
  6. Cooking ingredients can be brought in or requested from the co-op
  7. It is strongly suggested the class size be limited to 16

Check List

  1. What is being prepared?
  2. Ideally the roster of attendance should close 1 week prior to class to obtain the proper amount of supplies
  3. Is the co-op supplying the food or is it being brought in?
  4. A separate fee beside the kitchen rental will be due to the co-op for their supplies
  5. An instructor will discuss with the programmer the fees that will be due at class time
