Booking the Marquette Food Co-op Guide for Program Planners
Update 2-25
- Currently the contact for holding a class at the co-op is Pamela Valdez pvaldez@marquettefood.coop
- Classes can only be held on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
- The cost for a 3 hour class is $35 for kitchen use.
- The co-op will draw up a contract for the programmer to sign. Please make sure either a digital or physical copy is sent to the office whereupon the office person will pay for it by credit card
- All kitchen equipment can be used. Clean up of equipment and kitchen is expected
- Cooking ingredients can be brought in or requested from the co-op
- It is strongly suggested the class size be limited to 16
Check List
- What is being prepared?
- Ideally the roster of attendance should close 1 week prior to class to obtain the proper amount of supplies
- Is the co-op supplying the food or is it being brought in?
- A separate fee beside the kitchen rental will be due to the co-op for their supplies
- An instructor will discuss with the programmer the fees that will be due at class time
