received her PhD in Criminal Justice from Walden University. This is in addition to her existing '10 BS in Political Science from NMU, '12 MPA from CMU, '16 JD from Western Michigan University, '17 LLM from Western Michigan University, '23 Graduate Certificate, and '24 Master of Philosophy from Walden University. She has also accepted the position of managed assigned counsel for indigent defense with Cheboygan County and will be arranging representation for the under-served in criminal proceedings. She has held previous positions of attorney magistrate for the 89th District Court, Chief Assistant Prosecutor, and Chief Deputy Clerk all with Cheboygan County. She completed this entire education for the last 18 years while raising three children, one husband, two dogs, and 23 chickens and working full-time employment as well.
